Swung by the Fool’s Gold Records second annual Day Off block party at the City Winery this past Monday and it’s safe to say the entire place was a zoo. Literally. The parking lot/loading dock space was packed from very very early on and continued to fill up as the day turned to night. It was one of those “you had to be there” days everything and every performance was GREAT. Took a few pics to sum up the vibe of the day. Be sure not to miss next year’s.
This past Friday at Prohibit NYC was the release party for their T-shirt collaboration with 40oz NYC which I attended and met up with a few friends. The place was near capacity after about 20 minutes after the doors opened. DJ Soul spun the opening half of the party and the Heineken’s flowed till they ran out which happened twice but the good people there were kind enough to pull out a 30 pack of Bud and Coors to keep the people hydrated. Plenty of girls and good times were packed into the store space as well as some pretty dope wallpaper covering the windows. All in all a good time for a good collab if you’re in the LES check out Prohibit.
